“I wanted to express my sincerest thanks for your presentation during our “SMGT & Mental Health” week here at Wichita State University. We know that mental health—regardless of industry—is an important concern for all leaders, stakeholders, students, and professionals. And, we greatly appreciate you helping us to further educate our students, practitioners, and alumni in regards to the powerful and impactful nature of mental health.

In particular, your work in helping students to better understand the complicated nature and concept of mindfulness is an important step in helping our stakeholders not only identify the importance of understanding all facets of mental health, but also in helping them develop life-long tools for their personal and professional success.

Thank you, again, for your presentation. And, we greatly appreciate your support of our students!”

Mark Vermillion, PhD., Interim Associate Dean—College of Applied Studies, Chair/Professor—Sport Management, Director—Workforce Leadership degree program -Wichita State University

“We appreciated your honesty, authenticity, leadership and warmth during our workshop on Mindfulness & Leadership. During your workshop you created a warm and welcoming environment for students to connect and share their perspectives. You generously provided valuable information about mindfulness and the business case for why it is so important in today’s busy and distract workplaces. You walked us through several mindfulness practices to raise awareness of how we show up in the world and become more effective in our self-leadership as well as leading others. You patiently answered students’ questions and gave additional time to address their unique needs responding to each in an inclusive and attentive style, modeling what mindful inclusion looks like.

Thank you for impacting our lives in such a positive way with the mindfulness practices and wisdom you impart.”
